The KDLT news team came onto campus to feature our new SDSU Wellness Center.
They took video of the fitness floor, and did a follow-up story after profiling the new facility during initial construction.
Wellness Center Open for Business

The new SDSU Wellness Center officially opened for business on Sunday, August 31.
Over the Labor Day holiday, the wellness center operated shortened hours, and will begin its normal schedule on Tuesday, August 2nd.
City of Brookings Sets Aside $10,000 for Bike Lane Development

The Brookings City Council and City Manger, Jeff Wheldon, committed $10,000 in the FY2009 budget to develop bike lanes within the city. Robb Rasmussen of Big Sioux Bicycles

State and Local Government Chairman Luckhurst were tasked of leading the process of developing the plan through the city Transportation Board.
Luckhurst Presents Bike Lanes to City
Council

State and Local Chairman Luckhurst presented the idea of Bike Lanes connecting the community and the university to
the City Council at the council meeting on Tuesday, July 22nd.

New Website is Presented at SA Meeting

On January 28th, the new SDSU Students' Association website was presented and reviewed by the SA Senators. Ideas and suggestions for the new site were voiced as the new homepage of SA was open for discussion.
