5K & Walk-a-thon

Please come and join the Pre-Professional Science Club in our goal of raising $10,000 for water wells in Africa. We will be hosting a 5k run at the Brookings High School track on April 5th with a race start time of 8am. You can register online at the link below, stop by the Union between 11am and 1pm, or even email walk4water@hotmail.com and we will send you information. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest times for both male and female categories. T-shirts and snacks will also be provided.

Following the 5K run, our major event, the Walk-A-Thon, begins at 9am and ends at 2pm. The Walk-A-Thon will consist of food, music, games, and of course exercise! Walkers are encouraged to form teams and gather pledges from friends and family. For example, your parents could pledge $2 for every mile you walk during the event. More information will be provided after registering. You can register for the walk-a-thon during 11am-1pm in the Union or you may also email walk4water@hotmail.com and we will send you all the information you need to join us for this great cause!!
