Shyam Shankar
Shyam was the captain of the team in Mankato 2008 (April)
tournament for three matches. The injured captain benched himself
and gave way to upcoming captain Sankar. Shyam's win:loss ratio
was 2:1 in the tournament. Shyam took cruicial wickets against
NDSU Bisons under pressure. |

Sankar
Sankar captained the team against MSU-Mankato, a critical
match for the team, while Shyam took a break. Sankar's winning
ration has not yet been established but that may soon change!
Sankar went up the batting order in this tournament and
gave a tremendous start to the team. |

Chirag
Chirag played 3 of the 4 matches and opened
the innings with Ahssan (SDSU), Rama Rao and Sankar to give
the team a solid start. He needs better luck with big shots
on favorable ground conditions. Chirag did not bowl and has
decided to retire from bowling.

Panakalu
Panakalu played all four matches playing in the middle order to stablize
the team's opening efforts. Panakalu bowled very well against all
teams and took wickets at important moments. He also fielded very
off his own bowling, and he was the sole man-of-the-match from
SDSU's side in this tournament, attributed to his bowling efforts. |

Ahssan (SDSU)
Ahssan is one of the two left handed batsmen and bowlers in the
team. He opened against MSU-Mankato and MSU-India along with
Chirag and Rama Rao respectively. He generated good pace and
acted as a frontline bowler alongside Panakalu. |

Sandeep
Sandeep played his first tournaments and was one of the big
hitters in the team. He displayed composure and played big
shots when needed. Though he did not get a chance to bowl but
he displayed good fielding on the leg side. |

Nakul
Nakul was another new player in the team and played his first tournament.
He is the other left handed batsman and bowler. Nakul is a confident
batsman who connects well and, when needed, goes for the big shots.
He also bowls a disciplined line. |

Rajesh
Yet another new player playing his first tournament, Rajesh is
nicknamed Jonty Rhodes. His outstanding outfield field saved many
runs, especially at delicate stages of the matches leading to a victory
against MSU-India. He bats down the order. He did not get an opportunity
to display his batting skills. He made good use of the only opportunity
against SMSU. |

Ali
Ali played his first tournament as a new comer. He is an upcoming
middle order batsman and 2nd change bowler. He fields on the off
side and can throw directly at the stumps putting pressure on the
other side. |

Rama Rao
Rama rao has displayed his batting power in Fargo. He opened the
innings in this series twice, once with Ahssan and Chirag. He fields
outstanding on the off side and throws directly at the stumps. He
played some confident shots against MSU-India. |

Sudhir
Sudhir's highlight was the run out at a very critical moment in
the game against SMSU-Marshall. He kept his cool and made sure he
ran an important player out to secure the match for the team. He
did not get a chance to bat or bowl in the series but is practicing
hard to be a top order aggressive and stylish batsman. |

Srikanth
Srikanth played his first series and displayed good composure
on the ground. He fielded extremely well and is looking forward to
an opportunity to bowl as the 1st change and bat in the middle order
to stabilize games. His throws were accurate and quick. |

Naveen
Naveen played his second series this time and he was one of the
bowler under consideration and will be looking forward to bowling
in forthcoming series. He bats lower down the order to finish the
game with big shots. He is a quick runner and fields very well on
the long boundaries. |

Ajay
This was Ajay's first tournament and he did not get an opportunity
to display his immense physique and batting power. He does
not bowl but he loves fielding in slips and he is a very good
chaser of the ball. |
