Cricket is, in many ways, similar to Baseball (...more). There are some distinct technical differences between the two games that are easy to distinguish and learn.

We hope to involve the community of Brookings and the state of South Dakota in the game of Cricket. It is a fun sport and we welcome you to enjoy this sport with us. Cricketing season starts soon after the snow melts and the days warms up. Ideally, May through late September is the time when one could find a group of 20-30 friendly people playing Cricket either on the greens behind the Campanile or north of Garden Square (east of the old tennis courts). Feel absolutely free to stop by. The friendly crowd will be more than happy to explain how the game is played.
